This is a humorous collection of catty paintings that parody 124 famous paintings of the world. Shu Yamamoto, who describes himself as a cat/art lover, transformed the masterpieces using his unique style with his knowledge of art and love for cats.

The paintings are presented in the chronological order of the referenced works, from Ancient, Middle Ages, Orient, Renaissance, Impressionism, to 20th Century Art, and readers can definitely tell which masterpieces the parodies are based on.

The book is entirely in Japanese, with the exception of the title, artist name, year, and owner of each reference work, listed in the back pages.
