Gustav Klimt Embossed Boxed Notecard Assortment
The foremost Austrian exponent of Art Nouveau and the most famous of the Viennese Secessionists, Gustav Klimt (1862–1918) created highly decorative murals and sensual portraits, both of which drew upon his skills and interests as a graphic designer. He placed heavy emphasis on line and ornamentation, and he incorporated a variety of materials—buttons, glass, gold, and semiprecious stones—that enhance the mosaic quality of his images. This set of embossed notecards features adaptations of the iconic swirls and patterns from Gustav Klimt’s imaginative compositions Danae, Fulfillment I, Fulfillment II, and Expectation. Please note: the images are not printed with ink. The shapes of the illustrations are embossed on high-quality recycled paper.
