Greco-Roman Black Onyx Necklace
Regular price
$115.00
Inspired by jewelry found in Etruscan tombs, these earrings consist of semi-precious stones and annular gold bead spacers. The Etruscan civilization, which flourished in central Italy between the 8th and the 5th centuries B.C., left behind a language still not fully understood, as well as art and architecture created with great skill and inspiration. Etruscan gold jewelry excavated in the early 19th century was in great demand among ladies of the European courts and was often worn to state functions.
